Jesus inviting us to KNOW HIM:

3 ways that build one upon another

Not just about prayer: call to persistent dependence on God

Each action grows

a encouraging a deeper relationship with the God as your Heavenly Father

1.  ASK: Admit your need and dependence on Jesus

"Ask, and it will be given you..."

To ask is to recognize our need and bring it before God.

The Greek word aiteō implies humble petition — a child to a father.

God is not annoyed by our prayers. He delights in our asking.

If we do not ask, we may not receive

a  because we fail to look to the Lord for His help.

"The first step to receiving a is recognizing your need."

2.  SEEK: Knowing where to look moves you to believe

"...Seek, and you will find..."

Seeking goes beyond asking

  •  It implies acknowledging where your help must come from

  •  It implies an interest to know God, His promises & purposes

—         not just His gifts

Jer 29:13 and you will seek Me, and find Me,

when you search for Me with all your heart.

  • Sometimes we ask but remain passive (a maybe later)

  • Seeking is an act of faith that aligns our hearts

       with God's purpose.

  • Those who seek God’s face find more than His hand

    they find His presence.

"Those who seek God's face won't settle for His hand."

3.   KNOCK: "Turn in faith to Jesus Christ, the door to salvation"

...Knock, and it will be opened to you."

Excuses, I am OK, I am good enough.

  • I don’t need God’s help. I am trying the best I can.

Knocking implies that the door is closed:

due to not knowing Jesus as your Savior.

Our sin separates us from God.

We need to turn away from turn away from any other “doors"

John 10:9

I Am The Door: by ME if any man enter inhe will be saved,

and will go in and out, and find pasture:

(what you really need!!)

knocking” implies calling out to God to rescue you

When we

  • Ask for forgiveness,

  • seek His mercy,

  • and knock in repentance

    — the door of salvation is opened.

He invites all to come to Him

Mt 7:7 is not just a “blank check” — it's a relationship roadmap

God is not reluctant. He is ready.

He is not hiding. He is near.

He is not silent. He is speaking

Inviting ALL TO COME TO JESUS TO BE SAVED.

But He waits for a people who will

ask in faith, seek His face, and knock with perseverance.

“When we ask —  He hears.

When we seek   —  He reveals.

When we knock  —  He opens.”

Rev 3:20  Behold, I stand at the door, and knock:

if any man hear My voice, and open the door,

I will come in to him, and will dwell with him,

and he with Me.

Romans 10:9, 13

9   That if you will confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus,

and believe in your heart that God has raised Him

from the dead, you will be saved*

13 For whosoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved
